Scholarships for Higher Degree by Research
A number of scholarships exist to assist students in undertaking a Higher Degree by Research (Masters by Research or PhD) for both International and Domestic students. The following awards are open at various times of the year and for various stages of your Higher Degree by Research study.
Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) and Curtin University Postgraduate Scholarship (CUPS)
The Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) and Curtin University Postgraduate Scholarship (CUPS) will enable postgraduate students of exceptional research promise to study at Curtin for a period of two years for a Master by Research and three years, with a possible extension of up to six months, for a Doctoral degree. Applications open on the 1st August 2007.
Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (EIPRS)
The Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (EIPRS) provide international students with the opportunity to obtain postgraduate research qualifications and gain experience with leading Australian researchers. Applications will be open between 1st June and 31st August 2007.
Curtin Completion Scholarship
The Curtin Completion Scholarships provide financial assistance in the final stages of your PhD. The scholarship is valued at $6,000 over 4 months, during which time you must complete and submit your thesis for examination. Applications open in January and June of each year.
